Yoga is a powerfully effective agent of personal change and transformation. Strong, centered, and calm leaders better manage and lead their organizations. Companies with such leaders produce better results. My approach to corporate wellness combines yoga and mindfulness techniques to address physical endurance and flexibility as well as mental focus and increased productivity.

As a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor, my classes are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, who is widely regarded as the father of modern yoga in the West. Our system’s driving force is Mr. Iyengar’s belief that the benefits of yoga are available to all regardless of age, gender, and physical ability. (For more details, please see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iyengar_Yoga) The style of Iyengar Yoga is defined by detailed instruction, correction, and focus on proper alignment of the body, mind and spirit.

Yoga and meditation are not only an integral part, but also the essential foundation of, my coaching for public speaking and leadership training. According to recent studies, only a small portion of communication is verbal; crucial non-verbal communication in the form of body language and vocal variety constantly influences how one is perceived by others without one’s being conscious of them! These are significantly affected by the state of one’s body and mind. Therefore, I offer a uniquely holistic solution to achieving effective communication on different levels.

I completed my teacher training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco and have traveled to Pune, India, to study with the Iyengar family. Prior to teaching yoga, I worked on Wall Street in New York City and in Portland, OR as VP of Marketing for Mio International, a restaurant franchising company.
